Remote Technical Support

A majority of computer related support issues can be resolved over the phone.   This has a number of advantages over on-site support:

  • Much shorter response times, typically less than an hour.
  • Reduced cost due to elimination of travel time and smaller charging increments.

However, traditional phone support does not allow the technician direct access to your computer which forces him to "walk you through" any necessary changes and makes it difficult to determine exactly what you are seeing.  In addition, some of the tasks that need to be performed are potentially damaging if performed incorrectly.

Using our unique support approach based on proven VNC technology, we can assist you on your computer problems live on your computer within minutes of receiving your call.

This support option requires the installation of the Support On The Net! software (prompted install silent install) which is a freely downloadable  open source support program built by Hewlett-Ward Inc on top of popular open source components.
